Maura Healey and Kim Driscoll, the Democratic nominees for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, will make their first public appearance as a ticket in Worcester on Wednesday. They will visit small businesses and greet residents in the market, and then they will hold a media availability to outline their shared priorities moving into the general election.

Governor Charlie Baker – Glad to join this morning at the MBTA Community Center stop to see the progress on critical infrastructure and safety upgrades on the Orange Line. As of today, 59% of the planned diversion work has been completed, including signal upgrades, track and rail replacement.

St. Mary’s Athletics – Girls Soccer. wins the season opener 7-0 over Tech and advances to Saturdays Lynn championship. Bella Owumi (2), Sophie Skabeikis, Issie Skabeikis, Kaydee Rouse, Gianna Young, and Brooke Moloney had the St. Mary’s goals.
