Today, the Gloucester Vocational Carpentry class visited the Building Department to learn how to use the City’s online permitting system!
A big thank you to Rob Vicari, Gloucester’s Building Commissioner, for guiding them through the process of pulling a building permit.
The carpentry class will be doing work to retrofit a classroom at GHS for the new Medical Assisting program, as well as a permit for a new storage shed. The City will continue to support their learning throughout the inspection process as these projects progress.

We had such a great time at the Wobblin Goblin Parade this past Saturday. Chief Todd Fitzgerald and Officer Michael Richard were on hand to hand out tons of candy from 8 HUGE bags to all our little ghouls and ghosts that participated. But don’t worry, we still have some more candy if you see one of your local officers in the Norwood Ave area Halloween Night!
Also, don’t forget that it’s not too late for a last minute entry in our annual painted pumpkin contest!
