Traffic Alert from MassDOT 🚧

MassDOT will be conducting overnight lane closures on Route 133 (Essex Avenue) in Gloucester starting Sunday, June 1 through Friday, June 13.
🛣️ Location: Route 133 (Essex Ave) between Route 128 and the Essex town line
🕗 Time: Nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Sunday through Friday)
This work is part of a pavement resurfacing project being performed by D&R General Contractors under a District-Wide Resurfacing contract.
🔄 Two-way traffic will be maintained whenever possible, but alternating traffic and detours may be used to complete the work safely.
🚔 Law enforcement and signage will be on-site to help guide drivers through the work zone.
⚠️ Expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution when traveling in the area. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Danvers Town Offices Closed on June 11

DANVERS FREE SHREDDING EVENT - website

Town Hall and the DPW Business Office (2 Burroughs Street) will be closed to the public on Wednesday, June 11 to provide employees the opportunity to clean and organize files so we can better serve our customers. Online payments will be still be accepted. We appreciate your cooperation.

Free, secure, on site shredding will be available to Danvers residents from Noon – 2:30 PM at Town Hall (1 Sylvan Street). Residents are encouraged to drop off paper shredding.
