Girls Soccer – Hamilton-Wenham 4, Ipswich 1 – Junior midfielder Annie Moynihan took control of the game early and helped the Generals secure the win. Her first goal came five minutes into the game on an assist from junior midfielder Georgia Wilson.  In the 14th minute, Moynihan set up junior midfielder Maren Cassidy.  Moynihan came back with her second goal in the 19th minute off a pass from sophomore forward Margot Bryce Morris.  In the second half, the Generals got a little sloppy and lost their intensity.  Ipswich midfielder Jade Wilcox put in a long shot from outside the box that just dropped over the head of senior keeper Stewart Bernard in the 62nd minute.  The Generals answered back when they were awarded a free kick and Wilson rocketed the ball on goal.  The velocity of the ball was too great for the Ipswich keeper to handle. The Generals are now 5-0-1.  They face Essex Tech on the road on Thursday.

Masco Field Hockey – Masco hangs on to win a tight game over previously unbeaten Swampscott. Big NEC win.
