Salem Rep. Manny Cruz – Last week I was pleased to make a special stop at @_SalemHigh to surprise Salem’s very own Mrs. Kim Parker Warren, with a citation to recognize her being a recipient of @massinsightedu Partners in Excellence Awards. Thank you principalGBurns for your help in making this happen. Mrs. Warren was recognized for exemplary contributions to our students success during the 2022-2023 academic year measured for her incredible efforts to increase equitable student participation in AP classes, and for increasing the number of receiving a qualifying score of three or higher on the rigorous AP exam. The awardees were selected from over 600 AP teachers participating in Mass Insight’s AP STEM & English program. Mrs. Warren stood out for her tireless dedication to helping our students achieve excellence. Kim embodies our district’s values, and has had a tremendous impact on so many students in Salem including my classmates and friends. Congratulations Mrs. Warren!
