#1 Endicott Baseball Wins Tuesday vs. Suffolk
BEVERLY – The No. 1 Endicott baseball team defeated Suffolk, 23-2 (7 inn.), in conference action on Tuesday evening at North Field.
WP (2-0): Charlie Hale (Brookline, N.H.) – 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 5 BB, 5 K
LP (1-2): Garret Roberts (Stratham, N.H.) – 1.2 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 1 K
The Gulls scored 10 runs combined between the second (2) and third (8) innings to put the conference mercy rule in play and never looked back in the contest.
Nicolas Notarangelo (Taunton) got the offense going in the second inning with a two-run single up the middle.
In the third, Joey Frammartino (North Reading) belted a no-doubt grand slam to right field giving the hosts a 6-0 lead, at the time.
Dylan Pacheco (Dartmouth) followed later in the frame with a two-run double to center before another pair of runs scored on miscues to cap the eight-run inning.
All told, Frammartino (5), Pacheco (2), Notarangelo (2), and Joey Scrofani (Wakefield, R.I.) (2) plated multiple runners in the victory.
Brendan O’Neil (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Robbie Wladkowski (Norwood), TJ Liponis (Scarborough, Maine), James Benestad (Northborough), Danny MacDougall (Taunton, Caleb Clark (Gloucester), Richard Foresteire (Plymouth), and Kyle Grabowski (Westfield) also knocked in one run each.

- Endicott is 28-14 all-time against Suffolk.
- The Gulls have won eight straight in the series dating back to 5/1/21.
- Seventh time this season Endicott has scored 10 or more runs in a game (all wins).
