LYNN (Videos – Photos) The #2 seed St. Mary’s (20-4) baseball team will meet the #1 seed Oakmont (21-3 Saturday afternoon for the MIAA D3 State baseball championship at Polar Park in Worcester (3 p.m.). The Spartan, led by coach Derek Dana, have run off four playoff wins to reach the finals; Pentucket (5-0), Norwell (7-4), North Middlesex (9-3), and on Tuesday they beat Tantasqua (1-0) in an exciting state semifinal matchup. Coach Derek Dana has won state titles in 2015, 2019, and 2021. As a player at St. Mary’s Dana was on two title teams (1985 & 1985). Ticket & Stadium Information Below
