PEABODY – The Bishop Feehan Shamrocks (6-3) used their speed and size advantage to roll over the Peabody Tanners (8-1) by a score of 49-28. The Shamrocks, led by their 6′, 215 lb senior captain, running back Nick Yanchuk (23 carries, 271 yards, 4 touchdowns), racked up touchdowns on their first 7 possessions. The other senior captain, 6’1″, 210 lb running back Dante Bruschi, added 3 touchdowns while toting 17 carries for 119 yards. In all, Feehan rang up 466 total yards from scrimmage.
For Peabody, senior quarterback Shea Lynch (13 of 21 for 234 yds, 4 td passes) connected with Alan Paulino for three scores, and with Eli Batista for one. The Tanners totaled 329 yards from scrimmage, but saw a 21-14 half-time deficit grow to 35-14 with just under 7 minutes left in the third quarter.
