Video – Photos – Lynn Commuter Ferry Begins Service This Morning – 5 Daily Round Trips to Boston

LYNN (Video – Photos) The Lynn Commuter Ferry began service this morning (6 a.m.) with the inaugural trip from Lynn to Boston. Today’s 6 a.m. departure was the first of five scheduled round trips. (Schedule Below) The boat has been supplied for this service by the MBTA and Boston Harbor City Cruises is operating the ferry service. Today’s opening run transported 23 passengers to Boston. One woman arrived just as the boat was pushing away from the dock hoping to be passenger #24.  Boston Harbor City Cruises are expected to be adding service from Winthrop in the days ahead using a separate boat. Hear from Jeff Taylor, Director of Marine Operations for Boston Harbor City Cruises, as he spoke with MSONEWSPORTS right after the 6 a.m. departure from Lynn at the Blossom Street dock.
