GLOUCESTER – MSO News has acquired the memorandum below that was sent from Gloucester Mayor Greg Verga to the Gloucester City Council. Earlier today, the Mayor’s Office issued a press release citing that former Gloucester Police Chief and former City Councilor John McCarthy becomes the interim Gloucester Harbormaster effective Wednesday, April 10.
According to an official, the Gloucester shellfish warden was “let go” a few weeks ago, and the former Harbormaster, T. J. Ciaramataro, was “let go Thursday.”
