PEABODY (Radio) Bright sunshine and dry air welcome golfers to the Salem Country Club in Peabody for the 38th U.S. Senior Open Golf Tournament. Practice rounds and pro-am continued today with the opening round scheduled for Thursday. Below are two media interviews with this week’s golfers.
Kurt Van Hees – Born in Salem Oregon he is playing in his first U.S. Senior Open – He has also been a competitive swimmer and a Speedo swim suit model.
Allen Doyle – Attended Catholic Memorial High School in the Boston area. He has won the U.S. Senior Open twice. (2005 & 2006) only back to back winner
