On Saturday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m., Abbot Public Library will host Sam Lebicz, a functional nutrition therapy practitioner, who will share a presentation on how to create healthy eating habits in a world where knowing what to eat to feel your best can be very confusing. Learn how to eat in a way that supports your body for better energy and improved gut health for a healthier, happier life without having to give up all the foods you love! Lebicz will share her own struggles with her gut, hormone, and body confidence issues, and the paths she took to learn that it’s not just about what you eat but also how you eat it that is the key to feeling your best in your body.

On 5/20 – A 2022 American coming-of-age drama film directed by Steven Spielberg, who co-wrote and produced the film as a semi-autobiographical story loosely based on Spielberg’s adolescence and first years as a filmmaker. It’s told through an original story of the fictional Sammy Fabelman, a young aspiring filmmaker who explores how the power of films can help him see the truth about his dysfunctional family and those around him. Inspired by true events, the narrative follows Sammy Fabelman on a journey of self-discovery. After finding out an unsettling family secret, Sammy falls in love with cinema and its power to tell stories.
