Coach Kerri O’Connor post game comments, “Proud win against a high pressuring Groton Dunstable team.  Lost to GD in the state semi-finals 2 seasons ago so very happy to come up with a win making us 5-0 for a strong start to our season!  We played a very strong defensive game with 13 saves from our goalie who was key especially in the final minutes of the game.  Deidre O’Flynn played a strong defensive game with successful turnovers and strong doubling along with Kelsey Daly and Izzy Primack who had key pass deflections that led to winning the ball back for Ipswich.  Meghan O’Connor and Julia Glavin teamed up together once again controlling the draw with Annie Gillis coming up with numerous loose ground balls.  Caitlin Stevens is continuing to impress offensively this season with confidence and smart shots on goal.  Entire team played together as a unit!”
