#Onthisday in 1991, #CapeAnn locals received word of the last reported sighting of the “Andrea Gail.” The commercial swordfishing vessel and its 6-person crew out of Gloucester were lost in the North Atlantic Ocean in the #PerfectStorm that inspired a book and movie.

Sophomore defender Emmy Pitkin opened the scoring with a low shot from way outside that skirted by the ET goalie with 13 minutes left in the first half. With 2 minutes left in the half, Senior Georgia Wilson scored her 15th goal of the season on a pass from senior Annie Moynihan. 10 minutes into the second half junior Margot Bryce Morris finished a pass from senior Madeline Ciaramitaro. With 8 minutes left sophomore Dusty Romiza scored on an assist from senior Tessa Hunt.
Senior goalie Sasha Makogonov earned the shutout with Piper Shepherd coming in for the final 10 minutes. The Generals outshot ET 14-1.
The Generals finished up a second straight undefeated regular season with a record of 14-0-4. They await their state tournament bracket that will come out on Friday.
