Weather – National Weather Service – For areas up north and away from the coast, expecting some light snow to develop tonight, then transition to rain Wednesday morning. Some sleet and freezing rain likely for a time during that transition. Main impacts at elevations at or above 1000 ft. Locally, a cold rain is in store for our region. High temps today, only low 40s at best.

Salem Public Library – The library will have a delayed opening on Friday 11/18 for staff training

Swampscott Public Library – The hours in the Children’s Room are changing starting this week. The main changes will be Tuesday the hours will be 9am-6pm and on Thursday the hours will be 1:30pm-7pm
