Weekly Trash & Recycling Update – Week of July 28 Here’s what to know about trash and recycling services for the week of July 28, as the Republic Services labor stoppage continues:
Recycling Drop-Off Site:The temporary recycling drop-off site at the DPW yard (28 Poplar Street) will remain open Monday through Friday, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Residential use only — no commercial drop-offs
• Please do not arrive before noon
• DPW staff will be on-site to assist
If you’re able, please consider helping neighbors who may need assistance getting their recyclables to the site.
Trash Collection:Curbside trash pickup is continuing on the regular schedule.
• Have your bins out by 7:00 AM on your collection day
• Crews have until 5:00 PM to complete pickup
• If your trash is missed, report it after 5:00 PM via SeeClickFix — Republic will return the following day
