The Generals moved to 6-0-2 with a win at Georgetown today. Junior midfielder Jane Maguire opened the scoring in the second quarter with a volley off a cross by sophomore midfielder Ella Schenker. Georgetown defended well and shut down many scoring chances for the Generals. In the fourth quarter junior forward Claire Nistl secured the win on a breakaway goal she calmly placed by the goalkeeper. The assist was from senior midfielder Abby Sturim.
Senior goalie Elle Carter and defenders Libby Collins, Maddy Rostad, Jackie Chapdelaine, Molly Doane and Jackie Chapdelaine recorded their 7th shutout.
The Generals play M-E on Saturday. The game is 10am at M-E.
