Mass Transportation – This week in Saugus and Lynn, temporary detour on Rt 107 bridge over Saugus River. Detour in effect 7/10-7/12, from 9pm to 5am the following morning

City of Lynn – Aquatic Treatment Advisory: Flax Pond and Sluice Pond will be chemically treated for the control of nuisance aquatic vegetation and algae on Wednesday, July 12th. The ponds will be closed to swimming, boating, and fishing until Thursday, July 13th.
Sen. Bruce Tarr – Gloucester’s boulevard concert and fireworks were postponed on July 3rd, but the show went on Saturday, July 8th, with a large crowd and plenty of ongoing Independence Day spirit. Thanks to everyone involved for making these events happen!

Swampscott Public Schools – Last Thursday, July 6th, we celebrated the last piece of steel being put in place on the Swampscott Elementary School with a Topping Off Ceremony. All SPS elementary students have signed a beam and will be part of the history of this building project forever.
