Town of Hamilton Fire Department – Over the weekend the Hamilton Fire Dept responded to a local establishment for an unresponsive person. Off-Duty Hamilton Firefighter Ben Tuneberg was at the establishment and acted quickly to assess the patient and initiate life saving measures while awaiting the arrival of the Hamilton Fire Dept and Beauport Paramedics who continued treatment and transported to a local hospital. The Hamilton Fire Dept would like to thank Firefighter Tuneberg for his prompt and professional response to a serious medical emergency.

Town of Wenham – Chief Kevin DiNapoli and the Wenham Police Department welcome a new officer to the department. Officer Tyler Salois started at the Wenham Police Department on Jan. 8, after graduating from Municipal Police Training Committee’s Lynnfield Police Academy on Jan. 4. Officer Salois graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He is originally from North Andover and has been a full-time Corrections Officer at Essex County House of Corrections in Middleton for approximately three years. “We are pleased to welcome Officer Salois to the department, and we look forward to watching him grow throughout his career with us,” said Chief DiNapoli.
