TOPSFIELD – There are four days ahead at the 198th annual Topsfield Fair. Come see this year’s record-smashing Giant Pumpkin that weighed in at 2,075.5 pounds and other highlights, including:
Friday (October 7)
- Wild Wacky Emu Racing – Multiple Shows. Continues through Monday
- Brothers Osborne – This country duo will perform Stay A Little Longer and their other hits at a free show (with fair admission) in the Grandstand at 7:00pm.
Saturday (October 8)
- Imagination Movers – Kids love this high energy show in the Arena at 11:00am. Tickets are $15 in addition to Fair admission. Children under 8 get into the Fair for free, but require a ticket to the show.
- An Evening with KC and The Sunshine Band – “Shake, Shake, Shake, Shake Your Booty” as you sing and dance along to the many hits from KC and The Sunshine Band, a group that has defined dance music and forever influenced music with its mission of getting people out of their seats. Tickets are $25 each in addition to Fair admission.
- The Flying Wallendas – Watch one of the world’s greatest circus families as they entertain all ages in the Grandstand. Shows at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. Continues through Monday
Sunday (October 9)
- Mrs. Essex County Pageant – The 46th annual pageant is in Coolidge Hall at 2:00pm.
- Draft Horse Show – See the Supreme 6-Horse Hitch featuring all breeds in the Arena at 6:00pm.
Monday (October 10) – Last Day
- Figure 8 Race –Catch the action at 3:30pm in the Arena.
- Demolition Derby – The Fair wraps-up with crashing cars in the Arena at 7:00pm.
