D2 Westfield 4, Marblehead 1 – Marblehead played a tough game but needed to play near perfect to win. Four infield hits and some free runners via walks and a couple of errors proved costly for the Magicians. On the opposite side, the Westfield Bombers were flawless and were able to capitalize on some key situations leading to 2 runs in the first and a run each in the 4^th and 5^th. A great run by Marblehead who finishes the year 14-9 overall (12-8 regular season 7-6 in conference) More details below

D4 Ipswich 17, Monomoy 5 – Sweet 16 Game – The Tigers were led by Halle Greenleaf (3 goals, 1 assist), Ella Stein (3 goals), Carolyn Bailey (2 goals), Allie Wile (2 goals), Kayden Flather (1 goal, 1 assist), Estelle Gromko (1 goal, 1 assist), Jayne Krause (1 goal, 1 assist), Lyla Greenleaf, Taryn Desmond and Keira McPartlin. Ashton Flather had 4 saves in goal. Ipswich advances to the Elite 8 Sunday at 2:00!

Boys Tennis

D1 Newton North at St. John’s Prep – After a lengthy rain delay today, the match started on the first two dry courts. The Prep had the early lead in both matches when rain came in again. The quarter-final match will resume tomorrow at the Prep at 130pm weather permitting.
