Interactive Beach Water Quality Dashboard

MA Dept of Health Interactive Beaches Dashboard provides water quality testing results for the current beach season. It will tell you which beaches are open or closed. If a beach is closed, do not swim or enter the water at that location to avoid risk of illness.

The dashboard is updated at 9:30am and 12:30pm every day (including weekends) during the beach season.

Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) is nearby. Though rare, EEE is a very serious condition.

Stay safe by making sure you know how to avoid mosquito bites and how to recognize the symptoms of EEE.

“The first symptoms of EEE are fever (often 103º to 106ºF), stiff neck, headache, and lack of energy. These symptoms show up three to ten days after a bite from an infected mosquito.”

Launch Update!

The Harbormaster launch service will continue with its usual schedule through Sunday, September 8th.

Starting Monday, September 9th, we’ll be transitioning to shorter hours, with the last launch departing at 8:00 PM.
