Girls fall to a strong Medfield team 5-3. Unbelieveble effort from the entire team tonight to battle back after being down 3-0 at half. With 2 points tonight, Georgia Prouty is now the Danvers Girls Soccer all-time points record holder with 146 points! Thank you Seniors

WASHINGTON – Freshman forward Cecilia Kay was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week this week, earning her first weekly honors. She contributed heavily to the Eagles’ close game against FDU on Friday (Nov. 8), being one of only two Eagles to score in the double digits with 11 points. Kay also dominated in rebounds in Friday’s game with 10, securing a double-double in her second game as an Eagle.In American’s season opener against Virginia on Nov. 4, Kay scored 14 points and was just one rebound away from a double-double with nine rebounds. Kay started the game for the Eagles for her collegiate debut, playing 33 minutes. With five minutes left in the first half, she led the court with seven points and six rebounds.The Eagles’ next time on the court will be a mental health awareness game against Longwood University in Bender Arena on Friday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
