Masconomet 3 Hamilton-Wenham 0 – Comment’s below from HW coach Nancy Waddell, “The score was 0-0 at halftime, but Masco had too much power for the Generals today. Masco got on the board in the 53rd minute on a mix-up at the top of the penalty box. They scored again from a pass off of a free kick that the Generals played like a corner kick in the 72 minute.  The third goal came a minute later.

H-W fought hard and created some good opportunities in the first half, but the speed and skill of Masco wore down the defense of the Generals in the second half.
Erin O’Shea had a strong game in the central midfield, creating multiple offensive opportunities.  Sweeper Belle Dolan and Stopper Shae Granese held things together on defense with help from marking backs Erica Luo, Maddy Rivers, and Emily Currier.
The Generals are now 0-2-1, looking for their first win at Beverly on Saturday at 1:30.”
