Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea – DPW will begin hydrant flushing on Monday, October 3. Flushing will take place on a rolling basis across Manchester throughout October – Monday through Wednesday from 8 PM to 12 AM. If residents experience brown water please run a cold tap until clear.

Newburyport Football – Congratulations to senior Will Walsh on today being added as our 3rd captain for the 2022 season. Will is a versatile 3 way player with mental & physical toughness. Excels in the classroom, leader on the field and high character whether people are watching or not. Congrats Will.

Danvers Girls Soccer – Big 4-0 win against Fenwick! Georgia leading the offense with a hat trick and another shutout for Emily!

Hamilton-Wenham Volleyball – The Hamilton-Wenham Generals volleyball team challenged the defending D4 state champion Ipswich Tigers throughout the first set, but ultimately fell to the hosts by a score of 3-0 (21-25, 11-25, 9-25).  HW was led by the strong passing of sophomore libero Ava Day (13 Digs) and senior outside hitter Grace Roebuck (10 digs), who were both excellent in serve receive and defense.  Roebuck also led the team in kills (4), while senior setter Amber Scanlon’s (1 ace, 3 digs, 10 assists) play kept the visiting Generals in the match.  HW travels to Newburyport on Monday and hosts Lynnfield on Thursday of next week.
