Breaking News: WCVB TV is reporting that a North Andover man has died this morning from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police SWAT teams were called to the home, the man fired shots from the windows in the home.

City of Peabody – Efforts to lessen frequency & severity of flooding, particularly in downtown Peabody, continue to pay dividends. DPW workers & a crew from @EssexSheriff removed loads of debris and vegetation from the culvert that runs behind Leather City Common on Lowell Street.
City of Gloucester – Revised 4/24/24 – Paving East Main St – Hammond St to Highland Street
Beginning Monday, April 29th, the City’s paving contractor will begin paving East Main Street from Hammond Street to Highland Street. This project is weather dependent and inclement weather may cause delays.
There will be no parking on the street from 7am – 4pm (signs will be put up in the areas they are working) so that the contractor can complete this work in a timely manner.
We recognize the inconvenience to neighbors and motorists and will take all steps necessary to minimize the disruption. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Department of Public Works at 978-281-9785.
Town of Salisbury – Effective May 1, 2024, parking rates in the Town’s Hunt Memorial Parking Lot will change from $20 to $25 for anyone parking for more than three hours. Residents may still buy a pass for the parking lot at the Town Clerk’s office for $20 a year.
