City of Lynn Fire Department – Chief of the department Daniel Sullivan would like to congratulate the following members on their promotions. Lieutenant Mario Lopez Captain Kevin Wilkins District Chief Thomas Hines Deputy Chief Roger Alley They were sworn in tonight in front of friends & family at city hall.
City of Salem – he City of Salem’s contractor, Tasco Construction, will be installing drainage utilities and surface improvements in the Peabody St, Ward St. and Congress St. areas starting October 18, weather permitting. This work is expected to continue until late November this year. This project will then continue in Spring 2024 with sidewalk improvements and roadway paving. We appreciate your patience over the course of this important project and anticipate its completion early next summer.
During this project, the work area will be an active construction site and you should walk carefully through the work zones and drive cautiously at a reduced speed. “No Parking” signs will be posted in advance of construction and no parking will remain in effect until construction is complete each workday.
