DANVERS – Student-athletes from Danvers High School,, Peabody High School, new Northeastern Conference member Masconomet Hiigh School and at least 2 other NEC high schools all rallied at Danvers Town Hall at noon today chanting “Let us play” and “Save our season.”
The student-athletes are working to reverse a decision by the conference’s principals to postpone their fall-season sports until late February/early March.
Later, over 100 student athletes from the various schools then waled to Danvers Town Square where they rallied more support for their cause.
