NEWBURYPORT – Newburyport High School football coach Ben ” I grew up a Clipper ” Smolski is a big believer in team-building, team-bonding, participation, and, of course, winning. While those things are more challenging to achieve during the pandemic, the football team has had a busy and productive fall working within state guidlines. Coach Smolski, like so many other area coaches, remembers his first Thanksgiving game as a very pleasant family experience.
