SWAMPSCOTT (Video – Photos) The Swampscott boys lacrosse team (14-1) pulled off a 22-2 win Monday afternoon at Blocksidge Field against Saugus (4-9). Swampscott led after the first quarter (5-0) and then exploded for 12 second quarter goals and led at the half 17-1. The Big Blue were led by four goal performances by John Von Barta (5 assists) and John Von Barta (1 assist).
