DANVERS – (Radio & Video) The Danvers Falcons defeated Melrose 49-40 in a MIAA DIvision 2 North boys playoff basketball game. Danvers trailed at the half to Melrose 24-18 but came out in the third quarter to outscore Melrose 19-6. The Falcons were led by an 18 point performance from Devonn Allen. Danvers hit 8 three point shots in the game tonight, giving Danvers their 30th consecutive home win. Julian Nyland led Melrose with 15 points. Danvers will host Brighton Saturday 3/5 at 4 p.m.
