LYNN – (Videos) The pitching combination of Michaela Hamill and Mia Nowicki led St. Mary’s to a 4-1 win over Amesbury Wednesday night at Breed Middle School in Lynn. Hamill pitched the first 5 innings allowing one run while Nowicki came into the game in the 6th inning to earn the win hurling two shutout innings. Offensively, St. Mary’s got a solo home run from Victoria DeCenso in the 2nd inning and the team strung 6 singles together in the 6th inning to score three runs for the winning margin. Haley Catania pitched well for Amesbury, she was hit by a pitch on her pitching arm while at bat prior to St. Mary’s 3 run 6th inning. Post game videos coming soon!
