St. Mary’s Baseball Wins Mullins Tournament Topping Lynn Classical 4-1, Game Notes – Post Game Video Interviews – Photos

LYNN (Video – Photos) The St. Mary’s baseball team won this weekend’s Doug Mullin’s Memorial tournament by defeating Lynn Classical Saturday afternoon (4-1) in the championship game. St. Mary’s beat Lynn English Friday night while Classical topped Swampscott to get to the championship game. Earlier today, Lynn English beat Swampscott 10-6 in the consolation game. St. Mary’s pitcher Josh Doney was outstanding on the mound allowing only 6 hits in today’s game. Offensively Michael DeMarino scored two runs and knocked in two runs. Josh Doney scored what turned out to be the game winning run in the 5th inning. St. Mary’s will wrap up their regular season Monday afternoon against St. John’s Prep at Fraser Field in Lynn. The Rams end the regular season 17-3, 14-0 in the Greater Boston League. Hear from both coaches with their post game comments.
