DANVERS – The St. John’s Prep baseball team will meeting Braintree Sunday night in the in Brockton in the championship game in the tournament. This is a replay, or sorts, for the Prep coming out of the losers bracket to earn a birth in the championship Team. Last night the Prep beat Baintree 11-2, they opened the tournament with a loss to Braintree (10-4) to open the playoffs. The two teams met in the title game last year. St. John’s Prep is 20-7, they are 5-1 in the tournament. The Prep’s regular season record was 15-6.
