Sea Glass Creations Abound! Come take a look!

It’s an exciting time to be making art!  Everyone is back to enjoying life!
I’ve learned so much in my twenty years creating sea glass designs and through my recent experience interviewing artists for Cape Ann ARTWaves, I have an even deeper appreciation for the diversity of artistic inspiration that makes each of us completely unique in our approach.  With this in mind, I hope you will help celebrate my 2023 collection.   I am digging up my most challenging pieces of glass and giving them new life!  Come by and see for yourself.   Happy Spring!                                                           Jacqueline Ganim-DeFalco

Save the dates, June 3-4,  for the upcoming 40th Cape Ann Artisans Open Studios.  It’s already been an exciting anniversary year with participation in the Cape Ann Museum’s, Cape Ann Blossoms program and fellow artisans running workshops.  Much more to come including a Fall show at Rocky Neck!  Read all about the tour here.
If the tour dates don’t work, just ping me for an appointment. or check out the e-commerce site on Cape Ann Designs.  Sadly, there’s no more “jewelry barn” at the ECGB “Art in the Barn” this year, so I hope to see you at other events.

Nothing is more exciting than seeing people wearing my work! On our recent trip to Italy, I was able to share sea glass “thank you’s” with special people along the way!

Here what’s brewing in the studio NOW!
I can’t wait to see one of these pieces on YOU!

Many thanks to Northshore Magazine for sharing our stories in their April issue. It was very exciting to be featured as part of our 40th Anniversary!
You can read the full story here.

Remember you can find Cape Ann Designs jewelry and hair accessories in various retail locations!   I recently dropped off work to Betsy Frost Design in Ipswich, MA.  Be sure to visit Betsy’s amazing gift shop!
There’s also plenty of work at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton.   Many thanks to all the wonderful places that support my work.

With great joy, I would also like to announce a few exciting updates on Cape Ann ARTWaves.  We are very proud to have a partnership with the Cape Ann Museum going forward.  All the videos will be archived in the digital library that is becoming quite a destination for Cape Ann history. We have also completed the series of highlights reels that are truly a delightful composite of the interviews by year – 2020, 2021, and 2022.  For the time, they can be found on 1623 Studios channel here.  Here is the 2022 video but I hope you will watch all three to catch 75 artists!   The Museum has a lot in store – Don’t miss Jeff Weaver’s show before it closes on June 4th (the CAA Tour weekend).  Check out Jeff’s Cape Ann ARTWaves 2020  interview here.

This year I am looking forward to sponsoring Generous Gardeners July 8th “Gloucester400” event in downtown Gloucester – look out for the “game of chance” to win one of 3 Gift Certificates to Cape Ann Designs!   I am also proud to sponsor Gloucester Stage Company’s series of productions kicking off in early June with Noel Coward’s Private Lives.  Look out for this ad and mention it when you visit the studio and I will have a surprise for you!
