College Football – Endicott Tops Hilbert
HAMBURG, N.Y. – The No. 21/22 nationally ranked Endicott football team defeated Hilbert, 66-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Shane Aylward (Tewksbury) highlighted the offense with three receiving touchdowns (73, 38, 1) in the first half.
Anthony Caggianelli (Pelham, N.H.) and Markys Bridgewater (Lawrence) also punched home a pair of rushing scores (5, 1 | 2, 2), while Sean Benson (Canton, Mass.) and Will Shannon (Topsfield) both found pay dirt (3, 3) in the victory as well.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott improved to 2-0 on the road this season (both wins came in New York).
- Corey Monteiro (East Providence, R.I.) registered his third career interception.
- Cody Keefe (Merrimack, N.H.) picked off his first career pass.
- Shannon scored his first career touchdown.
- Michael Canney (Dracut) finished with three tackles (2 solo, 2 TFL) and the only sack of the contest (9-yard loss).
WHAT’S NEXT
No. 21/22 Endicott (4-1) hosts Western New England on Saturday, October 14 at 12 PM (Homecoming & Family Weekend). Hilbert (0-4) visits Gallaudet on Saturday, October 7 at 12 PM.

St. Mary’s Spartans – GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY: Varsity runners shine at MSTCA Frank Kelley Invitational Championship race. Kelsey Kwiatek led the way taking 38th out of 200 with a time of 20:25 and all of the girls ran their season best.
St. Mary’s Spartans – BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: Kyle Kwiatek medals with an 11th place finish out of 200 athletes with a time of 16:14 at the MSTCA Frank Kelley Invite. Over half the boys ran a personal record today as the team places 20th against competition from across New England
Endicott Fundraiser – Tomorrow (Sunday October 1st) Endicott Baseball kicks off there Breast Cancer Fundraising. Throughout the month of October the team hopes to reach there goal of raising $5,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. fundraise.nbcf.org/team/529761
