Endicott 80 Wentworth 75 – Trailing by six points (60-54) with 8:28 left to play in the second stanza, Endicott outscored Wentworth, 26-15, down the stretch to come away with the victory.
Ty Vitko (Dover, N.H.) ignited the Gulls’ comeback as the freshman guard compiled eight points, a rebound, and a steal all the way from the 8:28 mark to the final buzzer.
Endicott also received nine points from Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine), four via Keith Brown (Pelham, N.H.), a three-pointer by Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.), and layup from Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) during the run.
Overall, Brown finished the contest with a team-high 16 points, while Vitko (15, career-high), McDevitt (13), and Arseneault (12) rounded out the group of double-digit scorers
