SALEM – Federal clean energy tax incentives are now expiring soon! Salem residents interested in rooftop solar, heat pumps, or electric vehicles now only have a short window of time to save thousands of dollars up front and lower your monthly energy bills for years to come.
“If you’ve been thinking about going solar, buying an electric vehicle, or upgrading your home with cleaner, more affordable energy now is the time to act,” said Salem Mayor Dominick Pangallo. “We want Salem residents to take advantage of every opportunity available to them to save money, reduce their emissions, and help the City of Salem meet the goals of Resilient Together, our climate action plan.”
The incentives due to expire soon can save as much as 30% of the cost of renewable projects, or up to $7,500 for an electric vehicle purchase.
