Statement from Ken Perrone:
Thank you Brewer and Salem for this honor. God AlWAYS SEEMED TO PUT ME IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME. I met so many wonderful families and had so many hard -working wonderful players that have become my extended family. I had great coaching staffs at both schools.
At Brewer – Bob Gaboury, Tim Marcoulier, Ralph Brier Mike Connolly, Dennis Kiah, Mike Clark, Ron Treat, Maynard Corey, Dana Corey, Dave Robertson in football and Jim White in baseball. were the men behind our championships.
At Salem – I was blessed to have Tim, Marcoulier, Butch Giardi and Dave Wilbur for OVER TWENTY YEARS WOW, and men like Sarkis Sarkisian Mike Stellato, Ray Harrington Neil Moynihan, Ray Harrington and Kevin Lucey for a number of years. Thanks to all the sports writers and broadcasters who gave our teams so much publicity making us feel special, thankful and appreciated. At 88, time is running out on me so I definitely will cherish this moment. Again, THANK YOU BREWER AND SALEM. GO WITCHES.
