BOSTON – The Policy Director for the Young Democrats of Massachusetts, Rev. Vernon K. Walker, has recently been re-elected for a second term. In a conversation with MSO, Reverend Walker talks about how Democrats are dealing with the upcoming election, including working to vote out the “Divider-in-Chief,” and in dealing with the challenge the incumbent Senator, Edward Markey, is facing from Rep. Joseph Kennedy.
All the while, Reverend Walker is promoting peaceful progression in the nation-wide demonstrations against racial injustice and police brutality. And he details some of the financial burdens suffered by minorities right here in Boston.
