LAWRENCE – Statement from Essex County District Attorney’s Office – The shooting death of a NH man just before midnight last night is under investigation according to Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Lawrence Police Chief Roy Vasque.
At approximately 11:49 pm last night, Lawrence PD received a call reporting shots fired at 7B Summer St. Patrols responded to that location where they found a 35-year old Salem NH man, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the Lawrence General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased soon after arrival. Victim has been identified as Wilson Javier, 35, Salem, NH. No arrests have been made, officials are not releasing any information related to a motive in the shooting.
This matter is under investigation by the Essex District Attorney’s Office, the Essex State Police Detective Unit and the Lawrence Police.
