LYNN (Podcast) St. Mary’s football (6-2) will open the MIAA D6 playoffs at Cardinal Spellman (6-2) Friday night (6). The Spartans have won four games in a row including last Thursday’s 40-28 win over Archbishop Williams. Spellman shutout winless Arlington Catholic last weekend (49-0). In this podcast St. Mary’s coach Sean Driscoll previews Friday game against Spellman, a team the Spartans beat earlier this year (12-0), however due to injuries both teams are not the exact same teams that met earlier in the season (10/20).
