SAUGUS (Podcast – Photos – Video) Monday was an exciting night for the Saugus boys basketball team. Hear all about the game and the team in this podcast with head coach Joe Bertrand. The team came from behind to defeat Lynn Tech in overtime 70-64 to pick up their 10th win of the season to qualify for the state tournament. Saugus trailed in the game by 10 points with 5 minutes to play in regulation. The Sachems (10-4) Were led by co-captain Ben Tapia Gately’s and Josh Osawe’s 19 point performances followed by 16 points from co-captain Max Anajjar. Saugus will host KIPP on Wednesday night (7) and travel to Salem on Friday night (7).
