LYNN (Podcast – Photos Below) Lynn City Hall was the site of the annual Student Government Day. Today’s event featured Lynn high school students from Lynn Classical, Lynn English, Lynn Tech, St. Mary’s, Fecteau-Leary, and KIPP Academy. Elected city officials were in attendance and those featured (below, photos) spoke to the students. After the welcoming remarks students spent the day learning about ARPA funding and they participated in City Hall Jeopardy, and a scavenger hunt. There was also a debate for all students followed by lunch in the city hall foyer. Our podcast features Lynn Mayor Jared Nicholson and Lynn City Councilor at Large Brian LaPierre. Both discussed student government day as well as several other news topics from the city of Lynn.
