SWAMPSCOTT (Podcast) Peter Bush was named the new head football coach at Swampscott High School today. Bush is a teacher at the high school and has been serving as the team’s defensive coordinator under former coach Bob Serino who stepped down at the end of last season. In this podcast interview Bush shares how he was notified today of his hiring and discusses some of the coaches that have shaped his coaching style and continue to guide his coaching practice. Bush’s retired father, Bill Bush, is a former head football coach and teacher at Swampscott High School.
