WEST NEWBURY (Podcast) The Pentucket girls basketball team (17-4) wrapped up their regular season yesterday at the Spartan Classic (St. Mary’s, Lynn) with a 46-32 win over Newton South. Pentucket has played a tough non-league schedule this season along with facing their regular Cape Ann League opponents. The Panthers are now waiting to hear about their postseason opening match-up that should feature a home game with the announcement coming on Saturday. In this podcast interview Pentucket head coach John McNamara discusses yesterday’s game, provides team notes from the regular season, player updates, and news on several former Pentucket players now competing in college.
