NEWBURYPORT (Podcast) The #27 seeded Newburyport girls basketball team (13-10) has already won three games in the MIAA D3 tournament. Two of the three wins came against higher seeded teams; #6 Norton (52-41) and #11 Watertown (56-48) on Tuesday night. The Clippers opened tournament play with a win (46-29) over #38 seeded Southeastern. Up next, Newburyport plays at #3 Medway Friday night at 6 p.m. In this podcast Newburyport coach Karen Grutchfield shares highlights from last night’s win at Watertown and provides player notes.
