As the high school fall sports season approaches, we are reposting some of our Coaches’ Files interviews with north shore football coaches. In these interviews the coaches share memories from the days as players and reflect on the events and people that have shaped them as coaches. These interviews were conducted in August,of 2023, many of them prior to the first day of practices (8/18).
LYNN (Podcast) This podcast interview is part of a series of feature discussions with north shore football coaches. Lynn Classical football coach Brian Vaughan played high school football at Lynn English where he was a standout running back. He then went on to play college football at Northeastern University. Vaughan played for West Lynn Pop Warner football before his family moved to East Lynn. While in high school he looked to play college football at various schools in division one before choosing Northeastern. In the podcast, Vaughan also describes his coaching style, coaching influences and the values that he believes are important to promote as a high school football coach.
