LYNN (Video – Podcast) KIPP Academy football will be hosting league rival Manchester-Essex Saturday afternoon at Manning Field (1 p.m.) KIPP (6-1 /3-0) is coming off an impressive win last week at Whittier Tech (36-16). In that game Chanel Gutierrez threw four touchdown passes and a total of 255 yards. Morenel Castro earned 190 yards in receiving with a touchdown and a punt return for a score. Manchester-Essex (4-3 / 2-2) topped Lowell Catholic last week (37-6).
