DANVERS – As first-year head coach of the Essex Tech Hawks, long-time former Peabody Tannners coach Mark Leonard has made an immediate, positive impact on the Hawks. With two games remaining, including Monday’s game with Northeast, Essex Tech is 9-4-5 overall and 6-1-2 in D3’s Commonwealth Conference, second only to Shawsheen. And, the Hawks are currently seeded fourth behind Bedford, Cambridge, and Shawsheen in the D3 North standings.
In the interview below, Coach Leonard praises both his players and his staff for the positive results the Hawks have generated prior to the upcoming MIAA playoffs.
